Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Second Base
No surprises at the top of this list. Robinson Cano is the unanimous pick for the top 2B. It wasn’t even really a discussion. After the top spot, it gets a little dicey. And after the top 4, all hell breaks loose. That’s a sign that second base is a position that you want to get in early on, or wait. I think there is value late (more on that later). Beyond the top tiers, it becomes a question of which guys flaws scare you the least or, on a more positive note, fit into your team the best.
The biggest discrepancy on the list is Jason Kipnis. Kyle has him at 4 and Chris has him all the way down in the 10 spot. Chris doesn’t believe that Kipnis’ ability to steal bases is legit, and if he loses that, he loses a lot of his value.

Today, along with our normal cast of characters, I want to introduce Alex Kantecki (@rotodealer) who will be a contributor here at Vigilante Baseball. He also writes for Fake Teams, Big Leagues Magazine and Dobber Baseball.
